While many people are leaning towards looking after their health and understand that minerals and vitamins are good, they may still have a very important question. Those who are acutely aware of minerals will have heard of calcium and the fact that this mineral is good for strong bone formation, teeth and nails. Well here is some food for thought, without magnesium and boron, calcium would actually be useless and even harmful to our bodies. The calcium would calcify as it builds up in out joints and tissues and we would develop renal calculi and arthritis. Various minerals work in tandem with each other to produce the necessary outcome for the body. Electrolytes are only effective in the presence of sodium and potassium.
